Avery Dennison Showcases New Window and Car Wrap Films at 2017 SEMA Show

Press release from the issuing company

Booth #12173 Will Host Several New Product Demonstrations

Mentor, Ohio – Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced today that it will showcase new products from its expanding portfolio for the automotive restyling market at the 2017 SEMA Show, October 31 - November 3, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. Under the theme of True Grit, Booth #12173 will focus on the determination and drive of vinyl film installers with product demonstrations featuring innovative new films, including four new colors of Supreme Wrapping™ Film, automotive window films and switchable window films.

“Avery Dennison, much like a customer who uses our products, is creative, confident and resilient, and our displays at this year’s SEMA Show are a reflection of these characteristics,” says Jeff Losch, North America marketing director at Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “We are proud to show that we’re innovating within our current product lines while adding exciting technology that has a lot of potential impact.”

The new Supreme Wrapping Film colors, which feature special effects and are named Spark, Magnetic Burst, Radioactive and Eclipse, will be available to end users on October 31. The new colors will be used in demonstrations by Justin Pate of The Wrap Institute, Jim Miller of Miller Decals and Joffrey Van der Jagt of Prowrap Professional Carwrapping, which will take place twice a day on a lowrider pickup truck. Fans of vehicle wraps can also experience the announcement of the global “Wrap Like a King” winner in the booth, or on Facebook Live and Instagram Stories, on November 1, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. (PST).

Professional installers will also demonstrate the new portfolio of Avery Dennison automotive window films on freestanding windshields and will retrofit switchable film technology on a car door window. The switchable films use cutting-edge Avery Dennison Liquid Crystal Technology to “switch” from transparent to opaque for comfort, privacy and content projection with just a touch of a hand.

SEMA attendees can interact with the Avery Dennison booth by sharing their pictures from a vinyl wrapped selfie wall on social media with #ADTrueGrit. Those interested in seeing new products or the Wrap Like a King announcement can follow along on Facebook at www.facebook.com/AveryDennisonGraphics, and on Twitter and Instagram at @ADGraphics_NA.
