Autajon (Sinel) orders second Domino/ABG hybrid UV ink jet label printing system

Press release from the issuing company

Autajon (Sinel) placed an order for their second Domino/ABG hybrid label printing press during Labelexpo 2017.  Incorporating a 7-colour Domino N610i ink jet integration module with an AB Graphics Digicon 3, the press will be installed at the Sinel plant in Barcelona, in the first quarter of 2018.

This second modular, hybrid printing system will be used for the production of high quality, self-adhesive labels combining UV flexo, UV ink jet printing and premium embellishment tools, and will provide Autajon (Sinel) with additional production capacity.

Joaquim Pérez, General Manager at Autajon (Sinel), said, “We are already running our first Domino hybrid press almost at maximum capacity and with increasing demand for specialised labels, we need to further increase our production capability. This system allows us maximum flexibility and provides us with a solution to transfer conventional jobs from flexo to hybrid, enabling us to produce complex applications that combine flexo and UV ink jet, with die cutting, and related finishing and embellishment options.”

Autajon (Sinel) is part of the international Autajon Group, headquartered in Montelimar, France. This latest order re-affirms Autajon’s commitment to UV ink jet technology and further expands Domino’s UV ink jet capacity within the Group, which is already installed at multiple production sites. It reinforces Autajon’s long term partnership with Domino for digital printing solutions.
