Friday, October 20, 2017

Press release from the issuing company

The company will highlight the value that geomarketing services bring to cross-media marketing campaigns

BRAUNSCHWEIG, Germany - locr GmbH is proud to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming 2017 XMPie Users Group Conference (www.xmpieusers.org), taking place from October 29 to November 1, 2017, in Orlando, Florida.

Organized by a dedicated team of XMPie users, this annual conference brings together users, vendors and industry experts for an interactive discussion on how to maximize investments in XMPie technology. locr will showcase geomarketing solutions that empower service providers to add value to the campaigns they create for their clients.

“When you combine an enthusiastic group of users, informative presentations and a great venue, you have the formula for a successful event. That’s why locr values our attendance at the XMPie Users Group Conference. It’s our opportunity to connect with this group of users and show them how easy — and profitable — it can be to add the value of geomarketing to the campaigns they create for their clients,” says Thomas Schnettler, head of European business development for locr.

At the XMPie Users Group Conference, a global group of users from all levels will attend in-depth sessions that examine the latest developments in the fields of variable data printing, cross media, web-to-print and campaign management. These sessions will be led by experienced XMPie users, developers and experts and empower conference participants to get the most out of their XMPie software.

locr will host the session entitled “How to Use Geo-Information to Increase Response, Reduce Cost and Improve Marketing ROI.” The value of location is often overlooked by marketing strategists and campaign designers, yet it makes a powerful impact on successful campaigns. In this session, attendees will learn how to use the power of location to enhance marketing campaign messages, increase response rates and reduce costs.

This session will be held Tuesday, October 31 at 9:45 a.m. See the XUG website for details on this and other sessions.

Enhancing Your Cross-Media Marketing Campaigns

At the conference, locr will also showcase its range of geomarketing services:

GEOservices

Using locr GEOservices, marketers can finely target their mailing lists to include only addresses of prospects closest to their clients’ locations. This saves time and money, allowing the marketer to focus both the message and the audience.

Personalized Maps

locr’s personalized maps let marketers show the actual routes customers would take from their homes to the office or to the location of your client’s business. Customers can actually see the routes they would travel and the amount of time it would take to do business with your client.

These personalized maps are available through print and email as well as website and newsletter formats, making them an integral part of a cross-media campaign.

“Our wide-ranging agenda and variety of expert speakers mean that all types of users will be gathering at the tenth XMPie Users Group Conference. No matter what role you play — graphic artist, data expert, programmer, web designer, marketer or sales professional — you are sure to gather the information you need to do your job better. We are proud to once again have locr as a partner, and look forward to hearing more abut the value their services bring to XMPie users,” says Christian Kopocz, Executive Director of the XMPie Users Group, Board member and XMPie user with prindoz, Germany.
