IPEX reveals Dscoop Theatre programme content

Press release from the issuing company

Informa Exhibitions today announces the Dscoop Theatre programme which is set to run over day two and three at IPEX 2017 (1st and 2nd November). The programme includes interactive sessions highlighting the latest print innovations, applications and products in commercial print. There will also be expert panel discussions, where Dscoop members will be on hand to talk about topics which are most important in today’s printing industry.

The Dscoop programme will be moderated by professional speaker, entrepreneur and personalisation expert Richard Askam, who was voted number one speaker at Dscoop Phoenix in March 2017, for his tailored presentations and personal approach. Richard is also known for creating the success of the ‘Shareacoke’ campaign which was launched within Europe in 2014, and for creating Unilever’s first ‘direct to consumer’ personalised UK campaign using digital print.  From his experiences and observations of businesses worldwide, Askam can provide invaluable insights on strategy, change, and what success really means.

The Dscoop educational sessions take place on the hour, with case study presentations from a Dscoop solutions partner, and Q&A networking sessions also featured within the programme. Each day of the show will conclude with a networking happy hour.

PurePrint Group’s, Aaron Archer adds, "Dscoop has a hugely active and collaborative membership in the UK, who will no doubt use their precious time at the show to enjoy the exhibition but also catch some of the educational sessions, as well as meet new and old friends in the lounge area. Can’t wait to see you there!"

The full list of session topics and Dscoop theatre timetable can be found here.

Event Director, Rob Fisher comments, “It’s great to see what Dscoop have in store for us at the show this year. The line up of speakers throughout the programme on the Dscoop Theatre looks great and covers an array of topics all relevant to our visitors at IPEX, which can enable them to learn something new”.

IPEX is the UK’s longest running international print show. The event takes place from 31st October to 3rd November 2017 at the NEC in Birmingham. IPEX 2017 will be a showcase of innovation, technology and print in action, covering a range of applications including printing, software, digital, and finishing. Online visitor registration is open and IPEX is free to attend, visitors are advised to register early to avoid the queues and take advantage of travel discounts and event updates.
