Presstek to Exhibit at 42nd Annual University Printing Conference

Press release from the issuing company

Nashua, NH USA - Presstek, LLC, the leading provider of eco-friendly printing solutions, today announces that it is participating in the 42nd Annual Southeastern University Printing & Digital Managers Conference (SUPDMC) vendor fair taking place in Murfreesboro, TN, October 15-19. Universities and Colleges attend SUPDMC to share experiences and learn about the latest technologies for their print centers. Presstek’s Jay Hughes will be on hand to speak about ways to cost effectively and efficiently produce high-quality full color printing that is also environmentally friendly.

“From welcome kits for new students to alumni thank-you letters, schools are increasing their use of printed materials to communicate with their constituents,” comments Jay Hughes, DI Sales Manager, Presstek. “A Presstek DI puts them at an advantage because it’s a compact, all-in-one system that’s easy to run and easy to maintain. It allows them to keep production in house and provides the turnaround and low cost that they require.”

“Presstek has been a major part of our growth and expansion at Columbus State University, especially when we purchased the 34DI” comments Randall Bramlett, Director, Printing & Mailing Services, Columbus State University. “Superior products and an excellent sales and service team have contributed to a great relationship over the past 10 years, and we look forward to many more with them. The Presstek staff at the SUPDMC vendor fair will do a great job in helping anyone see the benefits of their solutions.”

Presstek DI digital offset presses incorporate chemistry-free on-press imaging and are engineered for producing profitable short-run printing. Its waterless design results in sharp, well defined images and removes unnecessary complexities from the offset print process.

SUPDMC attendees are encouraged to inquire about Presstek’s optional inline Aqueous Coating models or new ECO-UV technology which instantly cures substrates including plastic, for even faster turnaround. ECO-UV is also available as a field upgrade for existing DI press owners.
