Press release from the issuing company
The HDI Flexo CTP uses CRON-ECRM’s maintenance-free magnetic linear drive system, renowned for its ability to image accurately with high-quality performance. Available with standard output resolutions from 2400 to 5080 dpi (optional 9600 dpi), CRON HDI imagers provide a fault-free imaging experience, ensuring precision printing from all digital photopolymer plates, ablative films, and polyester-based letterpress plates.
The HDI series is available in three sizes — the 600 and 900 are suitable for smaller format and label work, with the larger 1600 is perfect for general packaging work.
Each format unit also comes in three versions: the “S” versions have a maximum resolution of 5080 dpi, and exposure speed up to 1.6 square meters per hour; the “H” versions have a maximum resolution of 9600 dpi, and exposure speed up to 3.2 square meters per hour and the new H+ offers maximum resolution of 9600 with imaging speeds up to 5.0 square meters per hour.
“We are thrilled to provide a unique alternative to flexo printers looking to bring platemaking in-house, or replace their aging, low resolution devices” said Marshall Hogenson, Director of Sales: Flexo, CRON-ECRM. “Our HDI-Flexo CTP now provides the highest resolution and the best warranty in the industry, offering by far the lowest total cost of ownership in flexo CTP.”
