Monday, October 09, 2017

Press release from the issuing company

Milwaukee, WI & Longmont, CO - Circle Graphics recently installed a VersaTech2™ 1.6M flatbed system with capabilities to laser cut, knife cut and rout made by Milwaukee based MCT Digital. Circle Graphics expanded its range of product offerings to include laser and knife digital die-cutting and high speed routing.

Circle Graphics installed an MCT VersaTech2  1.6M flatbed 3-in-1 cutting system with laser, knife cutting and router capabilities. The system has made a major impact in Circle Graphics Business Products Division providing finishing application for over 20 product offering in the Business Products Division.

Kevin Reynolds Said, “The heavy duty yet elegant design and build style of the MCT VersaTech2 flatbed cutting system was one of the first things I noticed that really is a cut above the rest of the machines we looked at.   The installation went smoothly and the MCT techs and support people really know the machine and applications.”

Reynolds went on to say, ”The MCT TigerVision™ software with its QR barcode automation workflow was integrated into our internal systems with some help from MCT software programmers.  This allows us to finish hundreds of individual orders per day in an automated mode with no operator required other than to remove and stack completed orders and load more material.  This first VersaTech2 system has proven itself and is in production and we have ordered the 2nd VersaTech2 unit for our Burbank CA office. We anticipate ordering several more systems in the near future.”

Bill Grambsch, MCT Regional Sales Rep said: “Circle Graphics is the first MCT customer to implement our TigerVision QR code automated workflow system.  One application is laser kiss-cutting window film and when they start cutting a roll of film it cuts automatically job after job with no operator. ” Grambsch also said, “It is amazing to see the system run continuously and all the prints are one-off orders and are each unique.  Circle Graphics is an industry leader and innovator in automation and we are very excited to be a partner vendor”
