E-commerce solution for print industry debuts fast custom platform

LAS VEGAS, NV - Debuting for the first time at Print 17, the largest annual graphic communications industry exhibition, 2017 Must See ‘Ems nominee Global Print Sites (GPS) introduced its quick and comprehensive web-to-print solution. The trade show and conference took place from Sept. 10-14 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

The quick-launch solution for print providers addresses one of the biggest barriers facing print resellers, print brokers, graphic designers, franchisees and entrepreneurs – time to market. GPS is fully equipped and ready to launch within hours.

"Attendees were pleasantly surprised that they could get into e-commerce with print products as easily as GPS makes it,” said Selineh Pitross, brand manager, Global Print Sites. “A 2-hour spin-up to a working site is unique in the industry."

Most impressive was the simplicity and speed to add or remove products and create a customized portfolio without development. Structured as a DIY e-commerce platform, GPS aims to let any entrepreneur get started with a complete inven tory of print products for marketing or to select specialty items for their business.

GPS also offers one of the lowest-cost platforms in the industry for an easier entry into the print reseller market. A Freemium version allows users to launch a site within hours by simply branding the theme with a logo and company information.

Additionally, users also receive automatic members of the InkRouter Network of print providers. Users can access the network to add products to their site or outsource specialty print jobs not produced in-house.

Also exhibited at Print 17 was RentAPress, an online trade printer. RentAPress provides a proof of concept toward marketers seeking a web-to-print solution with a full suite of marketing services. The site offers a working example of the flexibility of GPS as a platform.
