Printips Newsletter Enables Printers To Personalize Communications

Press release from the issuing company

Upland, CA, May 8, 2002 -- Printips -- a content-rich customer newsletter service for smaller commercial printers and quick printers—is a fully formatted publication that printers can use by simply adding their logo and contact information. Printers who prefer a different format can use the Printips content only, or can incorporate the Printips content in their website. Printips enables printers to quickly and easily prepare a custom newsletter containing information calculated to teach customers how to be better print buyers. Each newsletter contains educational content which establishes the printer as an authority in printing-related matters. In announcing the service, Printips publisher Nancy DeDiemar commented: "Many smaller printers recognize the value of ongoing customer communications, but lack the writing skills or discipline to regularly produce a newsletter. Others may have initiated a newsletter, and then failed to follow through with subsequent mailings. Printips provides those printers with everything they need to mail a monthly professional newsletter complete with subjects of particular interest to their customers." Printips is available on a subscription basis for $340 annually, in PDF, QuarkXpress 4.0, and PageMaker 6.5 formats, for both PC and Mac. Subscribers to the service can download Printips from the newsletter website, or it is available via Email or diskette. Each four-page issue includes a two-page feature story, plus a Tips & Tricks section, an Idea Corner, a Vocabulary of the Graphic Arts, and a Question & Answer section. Sample back issues are available from the company. Printips is published by Nancy DeDiemar and Patrick Jones, the owners of Printing Resources of Southern California. Their $1.5 million printing company provides offset printing, high speed and color copying, and mailing services. In 1999, Printing Resources of Southern California was named Printer of the Year by PrintImage International. Nancy DeDiemar is a regularly featured columnist in Instant & Small Commercial Printer magazine, and she and Patrick Jones speak extensively at printing industry forums. Nancy chairs the Mailing Services Group of PrintImage International. Nancy and Patrick use the knowledge gained in serving their customers to produce Printips, which consists entirely of topics of current interest.
