Ricoh Highlights Metallics at Labelexpo

Ricoh Europe, London, – Print Service Providers will be able to see how metallic effects can help them target growth market segments including labels, greeting cards, book covers, brochures, packaging and gift vouchers by engaging with Ricoh at Labelexpo, Brussels, September 25th to 28th.

Partnering European paper and film coating specialist MDV Group, in Hall 9, stand 9B36, Ricoh will showcase the capabilities of the fifth unit on the Ricoh Pro C7100X digital colour sheet fed press. Application samples including labels, with silver as well as gold effects, and the brand new Neon Pink toner, will be shown on a range of media including synthetics.

Erwin Busselot, Business Innovations & Solutions Director, Commercial and Industrial Printing, Ricoh Europe, says: "The ability to produce predictable high quality metallic print will allow print service providers to expand their production portfolios and offer a greater array of creative and eye-catching results."

On show, too, will be sign and display applications produced on the Ricoh wide format Pro L4100 latex printer. They will include labels and indoor graphics for carpet and outdoor floor graphics for tarmac.

Ricoh will also present a wide range of top-coated thermal papers used wherever variable information needs to be added, in Hall 6 on Booth 6C28. They are ideal for the food industry as well as invoices, bank statements and tags, parking, entertainment and transportation tickets.
