ELMSFORD, N.Y.--May 6, 2002--Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. announced today the acquisition of Taylor Impression, Inc., a dealer to the graphic communications industry headquartered in Nashville, Tenn. Taylor Impression has served the graphic arts industry since 1946 and today consists of five branch locations throughout the Southeast, including offices in Nashville, Knoxville, Memphis, Little Rock and Chattanooga. As part of Enovation, the branch locations will continue to provide customers in Tennessee and Arkansas and portions of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Kentucky with a superior selection of graphic arts products, services and support options. "The creation of Enovation last fall was one of the most exciting things to happen in the graphic arts industries in many years," said Joe Thornhill, president of Taylor Impression. "We're really proud to become part of this unique distribution company." Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. was formed last year with Fujifilm's acquisition of three leading dealers in the channel -- PrimeSource Corporation, Heartland Imaging and Graphic Systems, Inc. -- and is America's largest distributor of equipment, consumables and technical services to the graphic communications industry. "With the addition of Taylor Impression, Enovation is strengthening its commitment to meeting the needs of companies in the graphic communications industry," commented Atsushi "Steve" Yoneda, chairman of Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. "Enovation offers total solutions from the world's premiere manufacturers and assists in integrating imaging technologies and products through consultative services and support." "This is clearly another example of our strong conviction to be the value-added supplier to our customers," said Daniel Maffeo, Enovation's executive vice president. "And it is with that fervent conviction that we continue to uphold our promise of providing 'best in class' products with unparalleled service and support." "Taylor Impression's philosophy has been to service what we sell," stated Thornhill, who added that the concept behind the formation of Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. was "truly innovative and our becoming part of this company, with its vast resources and industry recognized personnel, will help us to strengthen our commitment to existing and new customers." "Taylor's commitment to its customers is right in line with our business philosophy," added James F. Mullan, president of Enovation Graphic Systems, Inc. "They already understand the vital need for the added value that our industry requires to prosper and grow."
