ImageX Receives Sixth Notice of Allowance for Print Automation

Press release from the issuing company

KIRKLAND, Wash., May 6 -- ImageX, the leading provider of online solutions for distributing, managing and producing sales and marketing materials, today announced it has received a sixth Notice of Allowance from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on its innovative print production technology. The technology covered in this patent Notice relates to automating the management of any print production-related task based on information from any source, including, but not limited to, information obtained from a customer and/or supplier enterprise database. More importantly, this technology allows ImageX.com to reduce the overall total cost of print for customers by eliminating manual processes associated with the ordering, content management and digital asset management of a printed product. "The ImageX technology and print production workflow are unique to our industry, and our growing patent portfolio is a result of our innovations," said Cory Klatt, chief technology officer. "This Notice of Allowance further affirms ImageX's position as the industry's sole print automation expert."
