Press release from the issuing company

Software: Workflow/RIP or Web-based Design, Personalization, or Product Bldg. Technology category

SALT LAKE CITY - Onyx Graphics, Inc., is proud to announce that ONYX Hub has received the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) Product of the Year Award in the Software: Workflow/RIP or Web-based Design, Personalization, or Product Bldg. Technology category. ONYX Hub software will be on display in the Onyx Graphics booth 2435 at the Specialty Graphic and Imaging Association (SGIA) exhibition, October 10-12, in New Orleans. ONYX Thrive software was also part of numerous winning submissions during the SGIA 2017 Product of the Year competition, integral to five additional wins for a number of manufacturers.

More than 70 companies competed in the 2017 Product of the Year Awards, submitting 222 entries over the competition’s categories — the largest field of competitors in the awards program’s history. Ray Weiss, SGIA’s Digital Imaging Specialist, coordinated the yearly awards program and said competition was tight. “This was the best year for entries that I can remember,” Weiss said. “In addition to the sheer volume of competitors, product quality was outstanding. Onyx Graphics’ award was well-earned!” The award will be presented in a special ceremony on Monday, October 9 at 7:00 pm in conjunction with the exhibition.

“We are ecstatic to receive the product of the year award for ONYX Hub software,” said Bryan Manwaring, Director of Product Marketing at Onyx Graphics. “To be recognized by a panel of industry experts for a solution to help print shops of all sizes become more profitable is truly amazing.” ONYX Hub is an industry first for bringing business intelligence to wide format and grand format print, designed to bring real-time, historic and trend data to business owners and production managers, enabling them to make better business decisions.
