Press release from the issuing company

Obliterate calcium glaze from rubber offset printing rollers

Lehman, Inc., a distributor of pressroom consumables based in Elk Grove Village, IL, introduces Calcium Slayer. Designed for use on rubber offset printing rollers, Calcium Slayer thoroughly and safely eliminates calcium glaze. It contains no VOC's, is fully biodegradable in 10 days or less and is non-hazardous.

"Calcium glaze and contamination is a constant problem in offset printing. The adverse effects on ink/water balance, optimum ink transfer and roller life are well documented." says Mike Mortell, General Manager of Lehman, Inc. "The cost of lost production on press, in labor and in materials, is significant. Until Calcium Slayer, offset printers never had a product available to them that was this effective against calcium glaze and contamination."

Calcium Slayer is a non-hazardous organic compound that is safe for the user and for the environment. Calcium Slayer quickly penetrates through calcium glaze on rubber offset rollers. Utilizing patented technology, Calcium Slayer is capable of flushing out years of accumulated paper lint, previous ink deposits and other roller contaminants during usage. Calcium Slayer is not flammable or combustible, is odorless, emits no chemical fumes and carries a Triple Zero safety rating, as well as being a U.S. EPA Designed for the Environment product.

Offset printers will be astonished at how effectively Calcium Slayer cleans their rubber rollers. Calcium Slayer will extend roller life and dramatically improve ink/water balance. Calcium Slayer will eliminate the need to use harsh, toxic, odorous and hazardous chemicals.

Calcium Slayer will be distributed to select resellers by:

Lehman, and Lithco, Inc. of Culver City, CA.
