Agfa to Supply Kodak Professional with Digital Photo Lab Equipment

Mortsel, Belgium - June 7th 2002 - Agfa is to supply Kodak Professional with digital photo laboratory equipment for professional labs on an OEM basis (Original Equipment Manufacturer). The deal encompasses laser printers for professional labs, including paper processors. They will be developed and produced by Agfa to Kodak specifications on the basis of Agfa's digital lab printer technology. Kodak Professional will purchase the equipment exclusively from Agfa and sell it under its own name and in its own design to professional labs worldwide. The market launch is scheduled for the third quarter of 2002. A corresponding agreement has now been signed by the two companies. "This highly productive laser printer for the professional lab market offers exceptional quality, versatility and speed for the most demanding lab environments," said Nick Parsons, Worldwide Marketing Manager, Lab Digitization Kodak Professional.
