J.E. Halliday Sales Signs on with Screen USA

Press release from the issuing company

May 29, 2002 -- ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. - Screen (USA) is pleased to announce the addition of J.E. Halliday Sales, Inc. of Huntington Beach, Calif., as the newest dealer for Screen’s CTP equipment and workflow software. The firm will integrate Screen’s full suite of thermal CTP devices and digital workflow solutions with its broad range of graphic arts equipment and supplies. As a result, both companies can creatively partner to provide advanced graphic arts systems to their large customer bases. "Halliday Sales will make available Screen’s entire range of PlateRite thermal platesetters and our popular workflow management systems, including the flagship Trueflow," said A.J. Kakiuchi, president of Screen (USA). "What makes Halliday Sales so vital and important is the company’s unique systems approach to selling. They are able to offer an integrated solution configured to their customers’ prepress and pressroom needs. Used in conjunction with Screen’s family of CTP devices, Halliday Sales’ printing and bindery equipment will bring outstanding value to our mutual customers." Established in 1978, Halliday Sales markets new and used printing presses, finishing equipment and platesetters. With a staff of 17 employees, the family-operated business maintains a 12,000-square-foot facility complete with an expansive showroom. Over the years, Halliday Sales has earned a fine reputation for making responsive service the highest priority. "One thing we try to achieve is to devise total printing systems for our customers," said Jim Halliday, president. "The right system is more than the sum of its parts. If you match a highly automated press with state-of-the-art CTP, you not only attain better quality but also greater productivity. That is a major reason we look forward to working with Screen. Their products are incredibly well made and reliable, and they fit well with the presses we sell." J.E. Halliday Sales is exhibiting Screen’s Trueflow PDF workflow and PlateRite 4000II four-up thermal CTP platesetter in booth #919 at the Gutenberg Festival, from May 30 to June 1.
