Big Improvements Coming to Gallus North America

Press release from the issuing company

St. Gallen, Switzerland - As part of the acquisition by Heidelberg, Gallus is excited to announce an agreement to partner with Heidelberg’s North American sales and support network to significantly expand its market coverage in USA and Canada. In addition to Gallus regional managers, who will continue to serve as direct contacts, Heidelberg’s field representatives will be cross-trained on Gallus label printing equipment and consumables, providing a comprehensive, nationwide resource for customers to tap into for label printing expertise and service support. The target date for completing the Gallus acquisition by Heidelberg is Q4 2017.

Gallus remains committed to the Philadelphia area but is relocating its headquarters from its current location to the nearby suburb of Ivyland PA, about a 15-minute drive away. All existing employees will move with the company, and all phone numbers and email addresses will remain the same. The relocation is expected to be complete by August 1. Screeny will continue to be supported in the new location, just as it was in the previous Philadelphia office.

Spare parts will relocate to Heidelberg’s American Logistic Center (ALC) in Indianapolis, which is structured for rapid response to North American customer needs. In the near term, customers will continue to request and order spares from their current Gallus contacts; only fulfilment and shipping will be handled by Heidelberg’s ALC.

The Gallus USA showroom has moved to Avery Dennison’s facility in Mentor Ohio where a Gallus ECS 340 is currently available for customer demos. Gallus is proud and grateful for the relationship with Avery Dennison as its official demo center in Shanghai China, Pune India, and now in Ohio.

Gallus looks forward to an exciting period of expansion as the two companies -- widely regarded as the world’s most respected printing equipment manufacturers in their fields – join forces to reach and serve more customers throughout North America.
