MBO Partners with German Mechanical Engineering Association VDMA

Press release from the issuing company

To Showcase Datamanager 4.0 and K70 Combi Folder at China Print

Beijing and Philadelphia, PA – MBO has partnered with German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) to exhibit powerful finishing technology at China Print 2017, taking place May 9-13, 2017. Attendees can see MBO at China Print in booth 130-2 in the German Pavillion in Hall E1.

On display will be MBO’s Datamanager 4.0 software, which allows printers to plan, analyze, and automate their finishing.  Job data can be manually input or sent from a JDF or MIS system to the Datamanager 4.0 which sends the information to the finishing equipment for setup. Production data, such as up-time, down-time, and error alerts, are sent from the finishing equipment to the Datamanager 4.0 server.

Also on display will be the new K70 Combi Folder, ideal for signature production of 30 x 47 inch sheets.  Thanks to its compact design, this folder is especially popular in production settings when floor space is at a premium.  Introduced at Drupa 2016, the K70 Combi Folder is 15 percent faster than its predecessor, the K760.  In addition to the speed increase, the K70 is equipped with the M1 Touchscreen Control.
