Seachange Print Innovations CEO & President Wendi Breuer Named 2017 MSP Business Journal’s Women in Business Award Winner

Press release from the issuing company

Each year the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal recognizes women who have truly excelled — not only in their professional lives but also as leaders and role models — with its Women in Business awards. SeaChange Print Innovations is excited to announce that President and CEO Wendi Breuer has been chosen as one of the 2017 honorees.

This year’s awards recognize 51 women for their professional achievements, leadership and contributions to the broader Twin Cities community. A leader in Minnesota and beyond, Wendi has led SeaChange through an extensive turnaround from its launch in 2014 to the thriving, successful business it is today. Her naturally inquisitive disposition, leadership style and passion for the changing print industry have kept SeaChange Print Innovations on the forefront of print and emerging technologies.

“Wendi’s energy, beauty and laughter abound. Her business savvy is ‘Shark Tank’ worthy. But it’s her kindness that is magnetic. While she juggles the world in one hand, she has the enviable ability to be present — giving time, respect and laser focus to each person she interacts with. Always putting others first, Wendi is quick to give credit where it’s due and steers clear of the limelight,” stated Kasey Hatzung, principal of Fusion Hill. Kasey is a C-Suite confidante of Wendi and a client of SeaChange.

Co-workers at SeaChange share these impressions, describing her as a strategic thinker with the ability to execute on the plan. Pat Barnum, SeaChange CFO, adds, “Moreover, she is genuine, never exaggerated or phony; being so real is not something one typically finds at her level.”

Wendi’s passion for helping others extends from the office to her involvement as a board member of NAWBO and a volunteer for organizations including Minneapolis Crisis Nursery, Toys for Tots, PIM, Girl Scouts and her children’s school. She also mentors young women whenever she has the chance.

“I’m honored to be recognized,” notes Wendi. “But this award is about so much more than a single person. It’s a reflection of the warm and energized environment we’ve created at SeaChange, which has been contagious to our employees as well as our clients.” This environment has helped SeaChange recruit top talent and earned it the PIA Best Workplace in Americas award.
