Toray Plastics Appoints Christopher Roy SVP and GM of the Torayfan Division; John Eustis Named VP of Engineering and Procurement

North Kingstown, Rhode Island - Toray Plastics, Inc., announces that Christopher Roy has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Torayfan® Division. The company also announces that John Eustis has been named Vice President of Engineering and Procurement.

Christopher Roy has most recently served the company as the Torayfan® Division’s Vice President and General Manager. He joined Toray in 1998 and has held several positions, including Director of National Sales, Director of Sales and Marketing, Senior Director of Sales and Marketing, and General Manager. Prior to joining Toray, Roy launched his career in the plastics industry working in the injection molding segment for seven years as a Vice President. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Missouri State University.

John Eustis was appointed Senior Director of Procurement and Logistics in 2010. In 2014 Eustis also assumed responsibility for leading the company’s engineering team. He joined Toray in 2008 after working at Pearson Composites, where he was a Vice President. Eustis holds a B.S. in Materials Engineering from Brown University and an M.S. in Management and an M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

“Chris has been instrumental in driving important changes that have had a significant impact on the Torayfan Division, and he has made many other valuable contributions to Toray’s success,” says Mike Brandmeier, President and CEO, Toray Plastics (America). “Chris has also been a leader in providing support to our sister company, Toray Films Europe. His promotion is well-deserved, and we look forward to continuing to benefit from his expertise.
