LA Times and USA Today Look to On-Demand Printing Technologies

- PEPC Worldwide announces agreements with the Los Angeles Times and USA TODAY - MIAMI (April 24, 2002) - As from today onwards international business and leisure travelers can print the latest edition of 70 national and international newspapers from 37 countries on PEPC's global network of PRESSPOiNTS. PEPC Worldwide, developer and manufacturer of the PRESSPOiNT, a self-contained on demand newspaper kiosk, today announced agreements with US-dailies the Los Angeles Times and USA TODAY. PEPC's rapidly growing Publishing Network represents leading publications such as the International Herald Tribune, The Miami Herald (USA), El Pais (Spain), Il Giornale (Italy), Die Welt (Germany) and El Economista (Mexico). "We are delighted in adding the Los Angeles Times and USA TODAY to our global network," says Raoul Maphar, CEO of PEPC Worldwide. "Our partnership assures their traveling readers the latest edition of their favorite newspaper wherever we have our PRESSPOiNTS installed." The PRESSPOiNT-newspapers are printed within two minutes in an easy readable - stapled, black and white - tabloid format.
