Foster Introduces Lifter for AGFA Printers and Various Roll-to-Roll Cutters at ISA 2017 Las Vegas

Press release from the issuing company

Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania - At ISA Sign Expo 2017 in Las Vegas, April 20-22, Foster will premier its new  Foster On-a-Roll Lifter® Universal, the latest in the comprehensive Foster line of material handling equipment.   Specifically designed for AGFA Anapurna, Mira, Tauro, and Titan printers, as well as many roll-to-roll flatbed cutters such as those offered by Zund and Esko Kongsberg, the new Foster On-a-Roll Lifter Universal enables printer operators to quickly and safely maneuver rolls as heavy as 660 lbs (300 kg) and as wide as 16 feet, 5 inches (5 m).  On AGFA machines, the tray fits easily into the roll loading area.  Multiple roll wedge settings enable the operator to position the roll precisely for loading and unloading.  The Universal lifter will be in the Agfa booth at the show.

Discussing the lifter introduction at ISA Sign Expo 3017, Foster CEO Ted Borowsky said: "The loading areas of many roll-to-roll printers are very limited, and roll lifters must be individually configured to accommodate the different designs in the marketplace.  The new Foster On-a-Roll Lifter Universal can be quickly reconfigured by the operator, adjusting it to the exact internal geometry of many individual printers.  This is particularly useful in shops using multiple brands and models of printers.  Our new Foster On-a-Roll Lifter Universal improves workplace safety and convenience.  It is available from Foster dealers around the world."
