Vice President of Landa Digital Printing and Chairman of the Ghent Workgroup will also participate in panel discussions and workshops during May 3-5 event in Tucson.

Alexandria, VA - Prominent graphic communications industry experts Nachum Korman, Vice President & General Manager, North America of Landa Digital Printing, and David Zwang, Principal Consultant, Zwang & Company, and Chairman of the Ghent Workgroup, will be featured speakers and workshop leaders at the Idealliance Experience annual conference, May 3-5, at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa in Tucson, Ariz. Idealliance is the communications industry association representing all facets of the global omnichannel media value chain.

“Our Experience Annual Conference is structured around case studies, workshops, and action planning,” says David Steinhardt, Idealliance President and Chief Executive Officer. “The experience-based insights of speakers such as Nachum Korman and David Zwang will provide our attendees with takeaways they can put to use in their businesses immediately—and the interactive panels and workshops will give them an opportunity to engage with these experts on industry issues.”

A unique feature of the conference will be breakout sessions on “Innovating Tomorrow’s Media Supply Chain” that will be based on frontline case studies from industry practitioners, including “Inkjet and Direct Mail Innovations” with Dave Fenske, President, Fenske Media Corporation; “Color & Print Workflows” with Jim Raffel, Chief Executive Officer of Color Metrix; “The Profitability of Print” with Michael Kellogg, Chief Executive Officer of Century Direct; and “Brand Management & Content Creation” with Marc Levine, Enterprise Print Quality Group Manager of SGK.

“Attendees can choose to attend whatever breakout has a direct application to their current business or offers a look at an area they may be thinking of entering or expanding,” says Steinhardt. “In either case, the takeaways from these discussions of real problems and their solutions will arm them with the kinds of proven tools and techniques that will help them navigate similar issues successfully whenever they arise in their businesses.”

In addition to presenting a keynote address on “The Impact and Opportunity of Nanotechnology,” Nachum Korman will participate in a panel discussion on “Transforming Business: Strategies for Growth & Change.” Prior to joining Landa, Korman held a variety of senior management positions at Scitex, Nur Macroprinters Europe, and Hewlett Packard. He served as President of Nur Macroprinters Americas and as HP Director of Large-Format Industrial Printers, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and then Director of Labels and Packaging at HP Indigo EMEA.

Zwang will offer a pre-conference technology workshop, “Automating Design and Production Workflows,” and will  join with Idealliance Chief Economist Andrew Paparozzi to present the conference’s opening session, “The State of the Industry: A Look Ahead.”

Founder of several premedia and printing operations, Zwang has expertise in cross-media publishing and an extensive background in digital, offset, flexo, and gravure processes. He has developed numerous industry training courses, written countless articles, sits on many international standards boards, and is currently the Chairman of the Ghent Workgroup, an international organization of graphic arts users, associations, and developers building best practices for publishing and packaging workflows.
