Live Print Demonstrations Will Show High-Quality Effects of the Invercote and Incada Paperboard Grades

Press release from the issuing company

Lier, Belgium – Iggesund is a returning partner of the Xeikon Café Packaging Innovations 2017 28 to 31 March, presenting their high-end heavyweight substrates that will convert to luxury packaging on a Xeikon digital press. The Invercote and Incada paperboard grades that can transform into packaging, folders, brochures, paperback-covers, greeting cards, labels and tags, will be shown in live print demonstrations and highlighted further on the Iggesund stand.

Founded in 1685, the Swedish Iggesund Paperboard is the proud maker of Invercote and Incada, two of the world’s leading paperboard brands preferred by some of the most demanding brand owners for their quality, functionality and design versatility. At the Xeikon Café, Iggesund will show how their premium paperboard substrates attract attention in appearance, visual impact, and tactile impression of high-quality digital packaging applications.

“Xeikon Café attracts highly sophisticated printers, provides a fresh overview of the digital market, and gives suppliers the opportunity to absorb feedback and insights to adapt accordingly,” said Wouter Hendrikse, Regional Manager Benelux, UK and Ireland at Iggesund. “We look forward to educating printers on the range of application possibilities with Invercote and Incada, and how to choose the right paperboard for their high-end digitally printed packaging.”

First-class paperboard with care for sustainability

The Invercote and Incada product families have evolved over many years, during which the Iggesund paperboards have been continuously developed to meet the changing needs of packaging and graphical customers. Second-to-none sustainability initiatives in caring for the environment are essential to Iggesund, with their sustainably managed forests and environmentally sound mills.

Incada is a multi-layered Folding Box Board (FBB) based entirely on virgin fibre of known and traceable origin. Various graphical applications use Incada, such as picture postcards, brochures and book covers, and also for the packaging of cosmetics, health care items, confectionery, pharmaceuticals and tobacco products.

Also made from pure virgin fibre sourced from sustainably managed Swedish forests, Invercote is a solid bleached board (SBB) and preferred by demanding brand owners for its durability, design versatility, taint and odour neutrality. The Invercote Metalprint mirror-like paperboard with metallised PET laminated to the print side provides excellent conditions for decorative print where a luxurious appeal is required, in applications such as wine & spirits, perfume & cosmetics, toiletries, pharmaceuticals, brochures and confectionery.
