GIS Brings Latest Innovations to Inaugural InPrint USA Event

Press release from the issuing company

Global Inkjet Systems (GIS), key partner for industrial OEMs, integrators and system builders, is showcasing its latest innovations at the inaugural InPrint USA show - April 25-27, Orlando, Florida.  As a company with over 10 years of innovation in software, electronics and machine control for industrial inkjet, GIS will be demonstrating its powerful Atlas® platform and Ink System Components on stand 1725.

On display will be the latest release of GIS’ dynamic Atlas software, featuring the Atlas User Interface Platform (UIP) and Atlas Machine Control Services (MCS). Atlas UIP is available with two different user interface control options:  Windowed Layout mode, shipped as standard, provides highly flexible control; and Kiosk mode, which supplies a fixed configuration for different operator / user levels. Atlas MCS is a powerful server technology for managing the entire printing and sub-system process - from image to swathe conversion and integration of workflow through to print queues, transport and beyond. Key elements of this flexible, high-performance software platform include a range of UIP tools, from Ink Cost Calculator to the latest Printhead View tool; and MCS high performance RIP, datapath controllers and more.

In addition, GIS will showcase its market-established range of Ink System Components (ISC) - comprising software, electronics, and a series of customisable header tanks and peripheral components.  GIS’ modular and flexible approach, combined with targeted expert consultation, offers an ideal solution for industrial ink delivery systems of any size. The ISC range is also available to customers who are using non-GIS printhead drive electronics.  At InPrint USA there will be an example of a working ink system on display, including a demonstration of the Ink System Pressure Monitor – a real-time, diagnostics and pressure monitoring tool.

“GIS is uniquely positioned to enable quicker routes to market through our collaborative approach and expertise in the field,” says Debbie Thorp, Business Development Director.  “The show’s location provides an ideal platform to showcase our technology, and GIS sees this as an opportunity to strengthen our existing partnerships in the Americas and also to reach new audiences.”
