Integration Technology (ITL) to showcase world leading UV LED curing technology at FESPA Brasil

Press release from the issuing company

UV solutions providor ITL returns to FESPA Brasil (Pavilion AZUL - Stand 643, Center Norte, Sao Paulo March 15th - 18th 2017) after the successful launch of local market sales and support companyIntegration Technology LAM at last year's event.

Oxon, UK - First launched at FESPA Brasil 2016, the company's MidZero returns, with uprated performance for 2017 and re-badged the MZ.

This compact, cost-effective, yet high-performing air-cooled solution can be seen on the ITL UV Integration stand running on a 3m wide roll-to-roll demonstration printer, specially converted from solvent based to UV inks to showcase the curing capabilities of ITL products in Brasil.

With class leading size to power now at 6W/cm² and unrivalled dose and curing capability, theMZ's plug and play lamp head design also enables simple platform integration or field installation making it well matched to either orignal equipment supply or retro upgrade for exisitng machines.

Featuring compact architecture, analogue or digital (bus) interface, instant on/off, variable power, low temperature and low noise operation, the MZ is ideally suited for small to meduim wide format platforms, product printers or even many marking and encoding applications.

The MZ can also be found operating on leading brands of Brazilian-made wide format and hybrid printers throughout FESPA 2017.

This year's event also marks the first international showing of ITL's latest world-beating air-cooled SZ and VZ solutions.

Both models share a common compact head architecture at just 70mm wide x 200mm high, and are available in a range of standard lengths from 90mm to 540mm long to suit all printer models with the ability to be fine-tuned using 30mm modules to precisely match printer swath widths. Longer lengths are also available to special order for industrial and other applications.

Performance varies from 14W/cm² with the SZ model to 16W/cm² with the VZ, both delivering dose and curing power well in excess of their indicated peak intensities.

Backed by ITL's unrivalled 5-Year Warranty, both also feature as standard the latest super quiet version of its VARIcool technology, automatically adjusting air cooling according to ambient temperature to deliver a consistent output in working environments of up to 40°C.

All new ITL products are equipped with ITL's high efficiency / high dose XT8 UV LED Boostertechnology, increasing cure speeds across all applications with more than a 30% uplift in operational performance when compared with other similar products on the market today.

Supplied as standard at 395nm, all ITL UV LED products are also available fitted with 365, 385, and 405nm or with mixed wavelength arrays (a technology first introduced by ITL in 2010).

Both the SZ and VZ solutions will be seen later this year (May) running on leading printer brands at FESPA Europe in Hamburg.

A pioneering designer and developer of ultra-violet (UV) LED curing solutions for ink jet printing and other emerging technologies, ITL in association with parent company IST Metz, partner with foremost OEMs, integrators and print system developers throughout the world.

Says ITL LAM business development manager, Edsel Lonza Jnr: "We're very excited about the potential of these latest UV LED solutions. They have attracted good rates of adoption in Europe and south east Asia where the ITL brand retains recognition for the innovative development of beautifully-designed products that do exactly what we say they will do. We look forward to FESPA Brasil in the light of a growing number of local developers adopting this quality European product."
