Integrated Graphics adds new Mitsubishi press

Press release from the issuing company

BATAVIA, Ill. -- When Integrated Graphics, Inc., a 14-year-old commercial printer in Batavia, Ill., decided to enhance its sheetfed printing capabilities, the company chose a format and a press manufacturer with whom it had enjoyed considerable success. Integrated Graphics selected a 40-inch Mitsubishi Diamond 3000S with aqueous coater. The four-color model shares the pressroom floor with a similarly equipped five-color Diamond 3000S added in 2005.

Established in 1995, Integrated Graphics started with a single press and now has multiple conventional and digital presses that run between two and three shifts a day. Before installing its first 40-inch Mitsubishi press, Integrated Graphics had relied on 25-inch and 29-inch sheetfed presses.

Integrated Graphics has the ability to perform just about everything in-house. Annual reports, brochures, pocket folders and direct mail in amounts ranging from very short-run to millions of impressions are Integrated Graphics' specialties.

The firm complements conventional offset printing and bindery services with variable data and wide-format digital printing, specialty projects, online ordering and self-promotion tools. Other capabilities include mailing and fulfillment.

Digital technology plays a leading role in trimming cycle times. The two Mitsubishi presses take full advantage of spectrophotometer-based closed-loop color control and Mitsubishi's ColorLink CIP4 server.
