Press release from the issuing company

Nieuwegein - Onyx Graphics and Konica Minolta are happy to announce the fully integrated support for the Autoscan Spectrophotometer FD-9 in ONYX 12.1 with immediate effect.

ONYX 12.1 software delivers accelerated speed and performance, a simplified user interface and advanced
finishing tools to do more in less time. This perfectly integrates with the fast and flexible fully automated chart reader Konica Minolta FD-9. ONYX users benefit from faster measurements of more compatible substrates.

“The Konica Minolta FD-9 is an impressive device. We are sure that our customers will be pleased to see that modern colour measurement instruments offer speed, accuracy and ease-of-use at the same time. This is a perfect match to the new features we integrated into ONYX 12.1 to improve the productivity for our customers”, says Bryan Manwaring, Director of Product Marketing at Onyx Graphics.

“Since we introduced the first M1-instruments to the printing industry, more and more users benefit from our innovative technology. The FD-9 turns out to be the must-have tool for efficient colour management for every printing house. We are very happy that now all ONYX users can improve their colour workflow,” says Claas Bickeböller, Product Manager Graphic Arts at Konica Minolta Sensing.

All different versions of ONYX 12.1 connect to FD-9 offering colour calibrations and colour profiling with ease.
