Duplo USA to Pre-Launch Digital Spot UV Coater at Dscoop Phoenix

Press release from the issuing company

Santa Ana, CA - Duplo USA Corporation, a leader in digital print finishing, has announced it will pre-launch its new DDC-810 Digital Spot UV Coater at this year’s Dscoop in Phoenix. During the event, Duplo (booth #213) will give attendees access to exclusive demonstrations and special pre-order offers before the official product release in May 2017.

Utilizing ink jet technology, the DDC-810 applies a gloss finish to defined areas of the substrate giving images a raised effect with texture and depth. Its CCD camera recognition system ensures image-to-image registration and its PC Controller software offers an easy-to-use operation. Designed for short run applications, the DDC-810 can process up to 21 sheets per minute (A3), UV thickness from 20 to 80 microns, and paper weights from 157 to 450 gsm (coated paper).

“There is a lot of excitement building up around the new Duplo Digital Spot UV Coater and we are excited to open doors to new opportunities for those printers who have wanted to add elevated spot UV embellishment to their products,” comments Anthony Gandara, product manager at Duplo USA. “The DDC-810 is an affordable solution that will allow them to creatively add impact and enhance the value of their printed merchandise.”

Also on exhibit in the booth will be the DC-746 Integrated Folding System, Duplo’s all-in-one slit/cut/crease and fold solution, and the UD-300 On Demand Die Cutter. Dscoop will take place March 1-4, 2017 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona.
