Ninth Sheeter Purchase To Increase Case Paper’s Converting Capabilities

Press release from the issuing company

HARRISON, NY - Case Paper recently announced the purchase of a MarquipWardUnited dual-rotary sheeter for their Philadelphia, PA plant. Able to sheet up to two rolls at a time, the new sheeter will provide custom-sized sheets of both paper and paperboard.

The ninth sheeter and the tenth converting equipment purchase over the past seven years, Case Paper’s latest acquisition will utilize the most advanced sheeter knife in the world. And with a three-pocket slitting system and series of pulsed air jets, the sheeter will offer enhanced reliability at higher running speeds. Moreover, side and lateral jogging will give operators superior stacking abilities.

“Supported by a skilled workforce and a solutions-based management team, our latest purchase will enhance our ability to significantly increase the output of paperboard for our customers,” said Robin Schaffer, President and CEO of Case Paper.

Even as the paper and board markets continue to contract, Case Paper’s investment in state-of-the-art technologies has positioned the company as one of the only distributors that can convert and deliver skids or rolls anywhere in the U.S., usually within 48 hours or less.
