Denny Bros Raises The Bar For E-Liquid Labelling

Press release from the issuing company

Even though electronic cigarettes are a healthier alternative to tobacco, they still contain a level of nicotine (classed as a toxic chemical) requiring them by law to have a tactile warning label attached in the form of a raised triangle.

Denny Bros, a leading printed label specialist, has met the technical challenge of creating unique multi-page wrap-around wet peel labels that can include a raised triangle and work effectively with a small e-liquid bottle. Not only do the labels fully comply with regulations but they will stay in place for the duration of the product’s life and cannot become detached.

Given the small size of the containers allowed for e-liquids, one of the most challenging aspects of compliance is how e-cigarette and e-liquid manufacturers can achieve an effective presentation of mandatory information and combine it successfully with the raised triangle.

At the forefront of printing innovation, Denny Bros’ labels are a triumph of design and functionality. Cleverly combining the attributes of the multi-page label Fix-a-Form®, the peel and reseal abilities of the wet peel label and the specialist print features of a raised triangle or anti-counterfeit features, makes a simple and effective solution available to all e-liquid manufacturers or suppliers

Senior Marketing Executive at Denny Bros, Stephie Castling, said: “E-liquid manufacturers can breathe a sigh of relief as we lead the way in helping their product label comply with the latest regulations. Our labels can be relied upon to last and can include all mandatory information in a one stop job lot.”

Although many people may only read instructions once, a key feature of the wet peel label is that they are ideally suited to repeated-reference information, are water and chemical resistant, tear resistant, have an easy peel section to open the booklet and are securely attached to the bottle itself.

The multi-page wrap around design allows for the inclusion of up to 120 pages of information - more than ample space to cover compliance regulations and with scope to target several markets with a multi-lingual section

Many e-cigarette producers could be faced with a complete redesign and overhaul of their products’ labelling and packaging. Knowing they are in safe hands with a tried and tested product, such as that offered by Denny Bros, could help to relieve some of the angst associated with regulatory compliance.

Denny Bros has been producing multi-page labels since the 1970’s when it invented them for the agrochemical market. Many variations of the original patented design are available for use across numerous industries including the vaping industry.
