Ennis Mourns Loss of Veteran Sales Manageraaron

Press release from the issuing company

Midlothian, TX - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lowell Lumpkin.  He passed away suddenly on December 25, 2016 and was 73 years old.

Lumpkin was well known in the print industry, having spent almost 50 years in the forms design field. Lowell has worked with Ennis as a Sales Manager in the Midwest region since 2004 when Crabar/GBF was acquired. He was an avid Flyer’s fan and enjoyed tending his beef cattle on the family farm.

“Lowell was one of the most knowledgeable forms industry experts I’ve known,” said Terry Pennington Ennis Vice President of Sales.  “He could tell you the best type of equipment and if it was uncommon, he immediately knew the small list of manufacturers that could produce it.  His knowledge, hard work, and friendship was unique and he will be missed.”

Lowell is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joan Brady Lumpkin, his daughter Colette Moorman of Dayton and his son Jon (Stephanie) Lumpkin of Durham, NC who are expecting his first grandson, Hadley, in March. Also surviving are sisters Coleen (Greenville) and Sherry (Dayton), sister-in-law Donna Lumpkin, brothers-in-law Art Smith and Frank Matanzo, nephews Travis Lumpkin and Arthur Dale Smith, nieces Robin Gunckle, Stacie Turner, Christine Swank and Megan Schrimmer.
