GMC Software Listed as a Representative Vendor in 2016 Gartner Market Guide for Rapid Mobile App Development Tools

Wednesday, January 04, 2017

Press release from the issuing company

GMC Software (GMC), the award-winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM), announced today that it is listed as a Representative Vendor in Gartner’s September 2016 Market Guide for Rapid Mobile App Development Tools.  The Gartner Market Guide lists 34 representative vendors offering solutions in this market.  GMC Software is the only CCM vendor included.

Gartner describes rapid mobile app development (RMAD) tools as “a class of coding-optional tools that enable nonprogrammers to build mobile apps to support, at a minimum, iOS and Android devices. These tools offer high productivity for developers and nondevelopers alike through a variety of approaches that both automate and abstract app development efforts, including drag-and-drop editors, code generation and orchestration, model-driven development, virtualization, business process mapping, component assembly, app configuration and forms construction.”

GMC recently announced the availability of its GMC Inspire Mobile Advantage, a solution that makes it possible to create a responsive, interactive and regulatory compliant mobile experience with little reliance upon IT or external support. For enterprises seeking to improve their competitive position by delivering an exceptional customer experience, GMC Inspire Mobile Advantage enables enterprises to extend the power of the award-winning customer communications management solution, GMC Inspire, to their mobile apps. Integrating with existing enterprise legacy systems to pull data from anywhere, documents are transformed into fully-featured mobile experiences that are created, approved and delivered as personalized omnichannel communications from one easy-to-use platform.

Strategic planning assumptions included in the Gartner 2016 Market Guide predict that “by 2020, the average medium to large enterprise will have adopted at least three rapid, high productivity development products supporting enterprise and citizen development.”

“GMC Software is proud to be included in this informative market guide as we feel it brings the importance of customer communication management into other markets, maximizing the value of CCM investments as new channels are added,” said Tamir Sigal, chief marketing officer, GMC Software. “GMC Inspire Mobile Advantage is designed to satisfy the needs of mobile users with interactive, dynamic and device-friendly communications tailored to their unique needs. We are very excited to help enterprises worldwide step up their mobile game.”
