NELA assumes service & support for Strobbe benders

Press release from the issuing company

Oakdale, MN – August 11, 2008 – NELA is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with Punch Graphix to assume first-tier service & support responsibilities for all existing Strobbe benders worldwide.

In Mid-2007 Strobbe bender users were notified that Strobbe (Punch Graphix) would no longer support or honor service or maintenance contracts on the installed Strobbe plate bending equipment in the US and that any future service would be facilitated through their service office in Belgium.

With this new agreement, NELA will now provide service, parts and ongoing support for existing Strobbe benders installed worldwide starting immediately.

“We look forward to supporting the existing Strobbe products and hopefully be the partner of choice for the Strobbe users when it comes to future punch/bending and plate handling requirements”, states President of NELA USA, David Klein.

This agreement includes the Strobbe Plate Bender series (manual & automatic), Series 220H, 360H, 400H and Varibend.

With factories in Lahr, Germany and St. Paul, Minnesota, NELA is the state of the art register and printing plate automation expert with over 1,200 installations in 70 countries.

Any technical support request for North & South America can be addressed to the NELA Toll-Free number at 1-888-407-4808.
