bakergoodchild makes move to new, purpose built premises as it continues expansion and growth

Press release from the issuing company

Birmingham-based direct mail fulfilment and print management services provider, bakergoodchild has announced it has moved to a new, purpose built premises in Birmingham, whilst revealing a new corporate identity as the business continues its expansion and growth in the print, transactional and direct mail sectors.

The ambitious expansion and move will also see the company focus on targeting the transactional mail sector, which covers the areas of business critical mail, secure mailings, statements, renewals and billings. This follows the announcement earlier this year that bakergoodchild had attained ISO 27001, the certification which ensures that they meet the highest standards for secure production. At the new site, a dedicated secure printing room has also been built, specifically for this purpose

The new premises is located on a secure industrial estate in Aston, Birmingham with dedicated loading and delivery areas, staff and customer parking, and easy access to the major motorway networks

The base will also have a dedicated server room, production, sales and management offices, as well as a boardroom and staff canteen.

The vast production area will also see each machine clearly marked and identified with wall-mounted plaques, and is a significant expansion on the company’s former base, which was close to the Jewellery Quarter and central Birmingham area.

The new corporate identity, also announced as part of the move and expansion, has seen new branding established for the company, with all company stationery, brochures, website and infographics being updated to illustrate the new branding

Commenting on the premises move and announcement of a new corporate identity, bakergoodchild Managing Director, Lorraine Burnell, stated, “As a company we have continued to grow significantly over the years as our business and customer base has also grown. In so much, we had outgrown our previous site. This new base allows us to expand further, whilst also allowing us to focus on new areas of business. Additionally the new corporate identity also provides us with a new branding.

Lorraine continued, “So we go into the new year with a new base, a new look and a new focus. Watch this space!”
