Clear View Bag Company purchases highly efficient Fusion C flexographic press from PCMC

Press release from the issuing company

Green Bay, Wis. – Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC), part of Barry-Wehmiller, has announced the sale of a new Fusion C printing press to Clear View Bag Company, a manufacturer and converter of custom plastic bags and roll stock in Albany, New York. The technology and productivity of the Fusion C will allow Clear View Bag to grow in a niche market. The press will be manufactured at PCMC’s state-of-the-art facility in Green Bay.

“Our company truly made an informed decision when purchasing PCMC’s Fusion C flexographic press,” said Todd Romer, Vice President of Operations at Clear View Bag. “Factors that were essential to us are the ease of use with rapid setups and quick changeovers, which will allow us to offer our customers shorter, more efficient runs. The

fact that the press is designed, assembled and serviced here in the United States was also important to us,” said Romer.

The Fusion C is loaded with fast make-ready and waste-saving features, and has a smaller footprint and fewer parts—saving space and cost. Its accessibility and ease of use make the Fusion C a unique offering in the market.

A worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of inline and CI presses, PCMC also offers customers a commitment to quality and a dedication to service.

“We worked hard to understand Clear View Bag’s needs, so we could provide them with a solution that works best for them,” said Rich Rogals, PCMC Sales Director. “We look forward to continuing a strong partnership with Clear View Bag.”
