Ricoh back again as the Host Sponsor for the High-Energy Annual Conference in New Orleans

Warrendale, PA – The National Print Owners Association (NPOA) has released the agenda for its fifth Annual Owners Conference to be held in New Orleans at the Hotel Intercontinental fromFebruary 2-4. NOLA is the site of the first ever NPOA conference in 2013, held right after the founding members started the association.

Industry experts Dave Fellman, Pamela Crouser and Philip Beyer will anchor dynamic educational sessions. Other notable presenters will include Dan Antonelli from SignShopMarketing and Thaddeus Rex.

The conference will begin on Thursday evening, February 2 with the popular and entertaining Welcome Reception sponsored by the conference host, Ricoh. This reception offers a close setting to reconnect with print shop owners and previous attendees and make new friends before heading out to on-your-own group dinners at various Nawlin’s hot spots.

“We are proud to host and sponsor this year’s NPOA Owners Conference, largely due to the similarities in Ricoh’s vision and NPOA’s values,” said John Fulena, Vice President, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh USA, Inc. “NPOA is laser-focused on giving print owners the tools to enhance growth and profitability – and so is Ricoh. When we see all NPOA has done to help printers, including many of our own customers, there is no question that we want to support it. We are looking forward to another exciting, educational conference.”

Friday will kick off the educational presentations with a breakfast buffet and special keynote by Thaddeus Rex on The Science of Charisma. The day’s general sessions, sponsored by AccuZIP, FASTSIGNS, Allegra Marketing & Print and Pocket Folders FAST, will build on the concepts and key points shared in Rex’s session, and will feature “Mechanics, Message and Mardi Gras.”  Printer’s Plan will once again sponsor the popular One Minute Mastermind luncheon, an engaging and information ideas exchange.

Dave Fellman will be the keynote speaker on Saturday morning for a breakfast presentation on “The Top Ten Mistake Printers Make and How to Avoid Them!” sponsored by Marketing Ideas for Printers. A panel of successful printers will address problem solving and mistake avoidance after the presentation by Fellman, and moderated round table before the Industry Luncheon will allow attendees to brainstorm with fellow print owners. The “Partners in Profit” Supplier Showcase – part reception, part mini-trade show, will cap off the conference activities with a vibrant mix of workshops, networking and vendor booths.

This conference has been carefully designed to provide optimal learning experiences from presenters as well as industry peers, while taking advantage of the fun and energy of the Big Easy! To do this, the NPOA board of directors enlisted the help of Kevin Herbert, St. Charles Printing and FASTSIGNS of St. Charles in Boutte, Louisiana, a suburb of New Orleans; Danny Paline, Five Star Printing and Signs in Denham Springs, LA; and Pamela Crouser, PROforma, an associate member of NPOA.

I have always believed learning is a requirement to achieve the goals that we have set for our businesses and ourselves. NPOA and this conference is a wonderful opportunity to tap into amazing training, people and information. I am honored to participate,” says Crouser.

Early bird registration is $485 for NPOA members and $590 for non-members and ends on December 1, 2016. Regular registration is $565 for members and $690 for non-members. There are discounted rates for attendees from the same company. Special conference hotel rates at the Intercontinental are $199 per night. More details and registration information is available at the NPOA website, www.printowners.org.
