SoftRIP Label Edition Bundled with Epson ColorWorks C7500 Series Inkjet Label Printers

Press release from the issuing company

Salt Lake City, UT - Wasatch Computer Technology, LLC is pleased to announce that Epson will bundle Wasatch SoftRIP Label Edition with their ColorWorks® C7500 and 7500G/C7510G inkjet label printers in North America, South America, and Singapore.

Designed with a new simple-to-use interface, the Wasatch SoftRIP Label Edition has been created for on-demand, high-speed label production. The interactive interface allows for easy adjustments to the size and orientation of a label image and the creation of a desired print layout by adding columns and rows. SoftRIP Label Edition was designed to work seamlessly with the ColorWorks series label printers.

SoftRIP Label Edition users can take advantage of Wasatch's celebrated color management tools. Spot color replacement, color databases, and correction curves allow a user to achieve accurate color output and ultra-sharp text with every print. In addition, rotary cut marks can be added directly from the main screen of the user interface and can be configured in a variety of ways to support the array of cutting units that are available. Optional Variable Data Printing (VDP) for sequential numbers, text, barcodes or images is also available as an add-on option. These features combined with an interactive layout makes printing hundreds of labels quick and easy.

The Epson ColorWorks inkjet label printers were designed for high-quality performance, ideal for demanding environments that require durable, low-cost per label. Powered by PrecisionCore® print head technology, these printers are able to achieve enhanced print speeds, ink durability, and superb color resolution. The printer's rugged design means minimal maintenance is needed with a low overall cost of ownership. Combined with Wasatch SoftRIP, the ColorWorks series label printers can print with speeds up to 59 feet per minute.

Wasatch SoftRIP Label Edition, with superior color management tools, and Epson ColorWorks series label printers are a perfect combination to create cost-effective, full-color labels.
