Warrendale, PA – Printing Industries of America (PIA) announces the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) 2017 Annual Technical Conference, March 20–22, 2017, in Houston, TX. Conference attendees from around the world will come together to discuss innovations and present papers on research and development advances in the industry. Keynotes for this year’s event include Anthony Thirlby, Heidelberg; Gary Dispoto, HP Labs; John Seymour, John the Math Guy, LLC; and Steve Smiley, SmileyColor & Associates.
 
The TAGA conference paper presentations focus on emerging technology in imaging methods, production workflow, and production systems while continuing to examine changes in press equipment, paper, ink, and consumables. Papers selected for presentation will also be published in the 69^thvolume of the TAGA Proceedings.

It serves the interests of print professionals investigating and utilizing leading-edge technology for their companies; scientists and researchers developing technology for industry suppliers; and university professors and students conducting basic and applied research.
