Gerhardshofer – WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH, based in Gerhardshofen, Franconia, is very content with its participation in this year’s FachPack. With more than 40,000 visitors and more than 15,000 exhibitors, the trade fair was well visited and nearly fully booked. Therefore, it offered Weilburger a great platform in order to present their extensive range of coatings, inks and adhesives for the graphics industry and to introduce them in detail with the experienced expert audience of the FachPack in extensive discussions. A main focus of WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH at this year’s FachPack was on the successful, high yield series of SENOFLEX^®  flexo scales and mixed colours. These series particularly achieve excellent results in the printing of corrugated boards and more than fulfil the trend to higher brilliance and finishing, especially in combination with the SENOFLEX^® protection and effect coatings of WEILBU RGER Graphics.

As at the previous FachPack, the company exhibited again at the shared stand of the PrintCity GmbH & Co. KG together with the Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG, Metsä Board and Canon. Next to many existing customers who visited the company at hall 7a, Weilburger was also able to count more than fifty new contacts during the three days of the trade fair.

For the first time in this year, the company also offered a workshop over ninety minutes at the PackBox in Hall 3a together with the PrintCity presenting collective projects and showing new processes, materials and trends of finishing as well as their possibilities and limitations. About one hundred high interested visitors took part in this workshop. The members of PrintCity (to those Weilburger is a part of since the foundation of the alliance) will deepen the indicated topics at the annual Packaging Inspiration Forum which takes place in Hamburg from November 9 to November 10. Even this year there are only a few available places left for this event. 

Günter Korbacher, Managing Director of WEILBURGER Graphics GmbH about the successful FachPack participation: “Also in this year, it was shown that the FachPack in Nuremberg has established itself as one of the most interesting trade fairs for the packaging industry and also developed to a central industry event for packaging specialists even beyond the national borders in the European environment. This trade fair is always interesting for us due to the high percentage of technically skilled specialists and decision-makers.” Günter Korbacher continued: “As we are a Franconian specialist for the packaging industry with an international orientation, every FachPack participation has a home game character just because of the regional nearness to our headquarters of the competence center + GRAPHICS in Gerhardshofen. Therefore, we will certainly also participate in the next FachPack from September 25 to September 27 2018.
