GPA’s Booth Traffic Up Despite Smaller Graph Expo 16

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, Ill. – GPA, the market leader in substrate solutions for offset, digital, and wide format printing, announces an overwhelmingly successful show at GRAPH EXPO 16. GPA reports 12% more booth visitors than in 2015, despite the fact that overall show attendance was lower than last year. Attendees had the first look at a multitude of GPA’s latest substrates, and had many opportunities to learn about market trends and opportunities at the show, held in Orlando from September 25-28.

“The phenomenal booth traffic we experienced at this year’s GRAPH EXPO is a testament to the distinct value we bring to the graphics arts community,” said Kevin Cooper, GPA’s Area Vice President for the Southeast Region. “Many of our customers made GPA their first stop at the show – even though our booth was located at the back of the convention hall. We’re so proud of the strong relationships that keep our customers coming to see us first, and excited about the new connections we made and the possibilities that holds for both of us.”

Among the new products GPA featured was their offering of roll label stock for HP Indigo narrow web presses; PaperTyger® durable papers for HP Indigo presses, which are exclusively available in North America from GPA and also available for toner digital presses; and Folex®Pressure Sensitive and Non-Adhesive Synthetics, a collection of premium polyester products for HP Indigo presses. Four lucky attendees won “Adopt-a-Tiger” kits in conjunction with GPA’s PaperTyger® product launch, which protects vulnerable tigers across the world through the Born Free Foundation.

GPA also debuted their new collection of luxurious specialty papers engineered specifically for toner digital presses. This range of distinguished fine papers is exclusively available in North America from GPA, bringing an unparalleled selection of new opportunities to the market. GPA’s new Azuna® 3D film for offset presses also made a huge impact at the show with its three-dimensional bubble pattern that provides a realistic illusion of depth. The Azuna® printed sample that GPA featured demonstrates how this material turns any application into a mesmerizing experience, making it perfect for today’s most popular applications and markets.

GPA had an active presence in the PrintMediaCentr Printerverse™ booth, where they served as the exclusive substrate sponsor for the third year in a row and participated in numerous discussion panels. The Printerverse™ is a unique environment at GRAPH EXPO that mixes work and play, which gave print professionals at this year’s show a unique chance to network and advance their knowledge while having fun.

The combination of new products, meaningful interactions with new contacts and existing customers, and active participation in discussion panels all reinforce GPA’s success at GRAPH EXPO 16, and testifies to their continuing strength in the marketplace.
