Press release from the issuing company
Braunschweig, Germany – Recognizing the important role that location plays in making marketers successful, locr (www.locr.com) the leading provider of personalized maps and GEOservices, announces today it will be exhibiting at the annual conference of the Direct Marketing Association called &THEN. From booth 406, locr will be providing demonstrations of location-based solutions that refine mailing lists, improve response rates, and create greater engagement with a prospect.
Randy Hardy, US representative for locr, says, “Location is one of the strongest value propositions a business has, but marketers have not always had the tools they need to leverage that value. locr solutions change that, putting the power of location in the hand of the marketer. These solutions improve key elements of any direct marketing campaign – from mailing lists to personalization. We look forward to DMA and to showing marketers the impact that location can have on their next direct mail campaign.”
At &THEN, locr will be highlighting the following range of services:
locr GEOanalytics ensures that a direct mail campaign reaches the right prospects in the right location. GEOanalytics compares a mailing list to the location of a business or event and then narrows the list down, so it only targets prospects that are in the exact geographic area a marketer wants to target.
locr GEOservices provide valuable location data marketers can include in their direct mail campaigns. GEOservices can assign travel time or distance from the recipient’s address to the address of a business. GEOservices can also be used to generate personalized turn-by-turn directions from the recipient to the location of a business or destination. If a business has more than one location, GEOservices can detail the locations that are closest to the recipient.
Personalized maps give marketers an easy way to add compelling, personalized images to their campaigns. These maps detail the route a customer would take to get from their home to the location of a business or event, letting the prospect clearly see how easy it is to do business with a company.
At &THEN, locr will be showcasing new maps styles for these personalized maps. Marketers can now select the map style that best complements the look and feel of their design and meets the goals of their campaign.
