Pemcor Expands into the Lehigh Valley with closing of Oaks Printing Co.

Press release from the issuing company

Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, June 20, 2002 - Pemcor, Inc. announced this week that they have now expanded into the Lehigh Valley. This growth is the direct result of Pemcor stepping in to help the clients of the former Oaks Printing Co. by making their 3 plants of operation available to the Sales and Customer Service staff of Oaks Printing Company. Oaks Printing was forced to close their doors after 28 years in business in the Leigh Valley / Bethlehem area after the Chapter 7 liquidation of the parent company Printing Arts of America of Darien, CT. Pemcor is in the process of transitioning the Sales and Customer Service Group into their operations, headed up by former Oaks Printing Vice President of Manufacturing Dennis Feece. Dennis Feece says, "Pemcor offers the Oaks clients the same quality and service they are used to. Along with new added dimensions within the larger Pemcor organization of facilities, Pemcor has a lot more to offer than the former Oaks Printing." "This strategy not only allows us to expand into the Lehigh Valley area, it will also give us a strong entry point into the New York, New Jersey markets for Pemcor" added Will McGrorty, Pemcor’s Sales Manager for all 3 operations. Pemcor Inc. is a family-owned, full-service high-end commercial printing, direct mail fulfillment firm based in Conshohocken, PA, with plant facilities in Lebanon and in Lancaster, PA with more than 160 employees throughout the 3 plants. The company serves the Philadelphia, Wilmington, Baltimore/Washington, central Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Virginia areas, specializing in high quality printing, and a wide range of direct mail and marketing communications printing.
