Agfa Graphics to Demo new LED UV Printing System at Sign Expo Canada

Press release from the issuing company

New Anapurna i LED systems print on broad range of media, offer quick system up-time, energy savings and reduced operational expenses

Elmwood Park, NJ – Agfa Graphics will be demonstrating the company’s largest wide-format printing system in its new portfolio of LED UV inkjet engines at Sign Expo Canada 2016. Located in booth #611, the new hybrid Anapurna H3200i LED 3.2m (3.2m / 126”) features a solid frame construction and user-friendly RTR media loading and transport with gutter for easy cutting of roll media. Driven by Asanti workflow, the Anapurna H3200i LED is being showcased at Sign Expo Canada 2016 on September 23–24 at The International Centre – Entrance 5 (6900 Airport Road Mississauga, ON L4V 1E8).

UV-LED curing technology from Agfa Graphics offer PSPs improved lamp life and stability. UV LED inks also provide fast drying on a wide variety of materials and a very wide color gamut. The LEDs generate less heat, offering PSPs an increase in media choices and because they turn on and shut down immediately, there’s no time wasted waiting for lamps to cool-down or warm-up, expediting the printing process exponentially.

For attendees looking to expand their business, the Agfa Graphics booth will also feature the Esko Kongsberg X24 cutting table finishing a variety of Duratex media. The Duratex brand serves UV, latex and solvent markets providing quality products at competitive price points.

New Agfa Graphics LED Portfolio

In addition to the hybrid Anapurna H3200i LED, the five new LED UV wide-format systems in the Agfa Graphics portfolio include: the roll-to-roll Anapurna RTR3200i LED (3.2m / 126”), the flatbed Anapurna FB2540i LED 2.5m (2.54m / 100”) and two other hybrid devices, the Anapurna H2500i LED 2.5m (2.54m / 100”) and the Anapurna H2050i LED 2.05m (2.05m / 81”).

All the Anapurna i LED systems are now available for delivery.

Agfa Graphics’ wide-format specialists will be available to discuss these and other new technologies and printing techniques at Sign Expo Canada 2016 in booth #611. The show is being held September 23–24, 2016 at The International Centre – Entrance 5 (6900 Airport Road Mississauga, ON L4V 1E8).
