Santa Ana, CA. - This year at Graph Expo, Duplo USA will be showcasing its growing range of slitting/cutting/creasing, bookletmaking, die cutting, and perfect binding solutions and invites visitors to see it all in booth #2025. 

Showing for the first time in the U.S. will also be the new Duplo Digital Spot UV Coater, which adds depth to images and enhances the appeal of the printed product. Also on the floor will be the highly anticipated 350R In-line Booklet System which integrates the DBM-350 Bookletmaker with the Ricoh Pro C9100/8100/7100 series of production printers. A number of other new products will be on exhibit including the DM Collating System and the DC-446 Creaser. Graph Expo 2016 will be an event printers will not want to miss! 

UV COATER

NEW! Digital Spot UV Coater

Available in 2017 and taking center stage at Graph Expo will be the Duplo Digital Spot UV Coater. Utilizing ink jet technology together with an ultra violet lamp to instantly cure the ink, the Digital Spot UV Coater applies a gloss finish to defined areas of the printed substrate. A CCD camera recognition system helps ensure the accurate application and alignment of the spot UV image onto the printed application. 

SLITTER/CUTTER/CREASERS

NEW! DC-446 Creaser

Released in May 2016, the new DC-446 offers vast improvements on performance and key specifications. With approximately a 20% increase in speed, the DC-446 processes up to 60 sheets per minute, handles a maximum paper width of 330.5mm/13" to accommodate 13" x 19" sheet sizes, and offers an increased capability of 20 creases in a single pass.  

Also on the show floor will be the DC-646 (with JDF) and DC-616 PRO Slitter/Cutter/Creasers, and the DC-646 Integrated Folding System. 

COLLATING SYSTEM

NEW! DM Collating System in *Booth 2805*

Driven by trends toward higher volumes, thicker sets, and a more diverse range of documents, the DM Collating System incorporates all the benefits of Duplo's Esper Collator. A range of different leaflets, flyers, brochures, open folded documents, magazines, pre-collated sets and even perfect bound soft cover books are all reliably and quickly collated together into a complete set. 

BOOKLETMAKING SYSTEMS

600i Booklet System

The 600i Booklet System is Duplo's flagship solution designed for both offset and digital output. Produce high quality saddle, side, or corner-stitched booklets along with letter landscape applications on demand. With a production speed up to 5,200 booklets per hour, the 600i offers a fully automated system without any manual adjustments or a skilled operator required. 

350R In-line Booklet System

In partnership with Ricoh, Duplo brings the 350R In-line Booklet System - an exciting bookletmaking solution that integrates the Duplo DBM-350/T Bookletmaker and Trimmer with the Ricoh Pro C9100/8100/7100 series of production printers. On exhibit at the Duplo booth, the 350R In-line Booklet System will be featured with the Slit/Cut/Crease and DSS-350 Square Spine modules along with the Ricoh Pro C7110.

Other systems on display include the 600i PRO Digital Booklet System, the iSaddle PRO Digital Booklet System and the 150Cr Booklet System. 

PERFECT BINDERS

NEW! DB-290  

The new DB-290 Perfect Binder features a few enhancements including new milling and notching blades along with a new side glue tank for improved glue application. The side glue will provide better adhesion and help form the book spine. In addition, new formulated glue will perform better on digital coated sheets. 

The DPB-500 Perfect Binder will also be on display. 

DIE CUTTER

UD-300 Die Cutter

See the UD-300 Die Cutter produce a variety of custom-shaped applications on demand such as bottle hangars, envelopes, and scalloped edge invitations. Designed for use with flexible dies, the UD-300 performs multiple cuts, slits, slit-scores, kiss cuts, perforations, and new window punches on a range of paper stock up to 14” x 20” at 3,000 sheets per hour. Compact in size and easy to use, the UD-300 provides a cost-efficient solution with fast die changeover and set up times.

Oher products on display include the CC-228 Card Cutter and 490 Pro Hydraulic Cutter. Visitors looking for folding solutions will have the opportunity to see the DF-1200 and DF-980 Tabletop Folders as well as the CP375 DUOTF and CP375 DUO Touchline.

PARTNER BOOTHS

Duplo partners will be demonstrating print finishing along with their solutions. The DC-646 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser will be on display in the KMBS booth and the DC-646 with JDF workflow will be on the floor in the CANON booth.
