alfaQuest Technologies offers KPG Thermal CTP Solutions

(formerly Monotype Systems, Inc.) and Kodak Polychrome Graphics LLC (KPG) have concluded a Reseller Agreement whereby alfaQuest is the authorized reseller to newspapers in the U.S. and Canada. The agreement relates to the distribution of the KPG Newsetter TH100 and the Newsetter TH180 Thermal CTP systems. Kodak Polychrome Graphics has established itself as a world leader in thermal plate technology. Thermal/News, the latest generation of thermal plates, meets the rigorous demands of newspaper printing, bringing unsurpassed final print quality and outstanding reliability to this arena. Current installations in the U.S. include the Lexington (KY) Herald-Leader and The Post-Standard in Syracuse, NY. alfaQuest Technologies provides innovative and cost-effective products, including RIP’s, imagers and newspaper workflow solutions, to the Publishing marketplace. Today, they are a major newspaper prepress vendor and remain one of the very few strong and "debt free" suppliers in the prepress industry. The availability of the Newsetter Thermal CTP systems, now rounds out the most comprehensive CTP product line available from a single source.
