Vision Continues Investment to Support Growth

Press release from the issuing company

Marketing services provider lands several new clients, adds new capabilities and expands into new facility

CHICAGO, IL. – Vision, a leading marketing solutions provider, announces several large client wins and new investments in equipment, technology and facilities.

The company secured new long-term client commitments with one of the largest home improvement retailers, one of the largest auto manufacturers and one of the largest e-commerce companies in the U.S.  The agreements will leverage Vision’s vast digital printing and unique technology capabilities.

“We’re excited to partner with some of the most respected brands in the world,” said Doug Powell, Chief Executive Officer. “These new relationships add to the significant growth we’ve experienced in 2016 and will fuel growth in the years to come.”

Additionally, Vision has made new investments to expand its capabilities.   A new Sakurai UV press was installed, which will be utilized for high-impact POP, marketing products and direct mail.  The press will allow for personalized messages with a wide array of coatings and finishes that can be added to a full size 20” x 28” digital form.  Also, a new large-format Durst Rho 1312 was recently added to Vision’s arsenal of high-end, 3 Meter output devices and will add significant speed, enhanced quality and flexibility for the ever-changing POP market.

As part of integrating its acquisition of Tobe Direct, a leading direct response provider, Vision will be expanding into a new facility in Bolingbrook this month.  The new facility will give Vision over 150,000 square feet devoted to high volume direct mail and marketing collateral production along with full service bindery, kitting, fulfillment and warehousing capabilities.  As part of the expansion, Vision will be closing its facility in Tinley Park.

Vision has also been investing in technology, growing its staff by 30% in 2016.  The increase has been driven by growing client demands for Vision’s platforms and automated workflows that are required to support customized marketing programs.

“Our recent investments in equipment, technology and facilities have positioned Vision for significant growth.  More importantly, our customers have a business partner who can be a single-source provider for their multi-channel, highly personalized marketing needs,” added Steve Smits, President.
