Kinko's Appoints Dale Kurokawa as New San Francisco Market Director

DALLAS - June 18, 2002 - Kinko's, Inc., a leading provider of document solutions and business services, has announced the appointment of Dale Kurokawa as market director for the San Francisco area. As San Francisco market director, Mr. Kurokawa oversees the overall performance and operations within the market, such as achieving revenue and profit plan, as well as maintaining and improving team member morale, retention and productivity. Mr. Kurokawa previously served in a similar capacity for Kinko's Central California market. He was recently named "Market Director of the Year" for Kinko's 2001 Chairperson's Club - an elite group recognizing Kinko's best performing locations, management and sales team members. "Kinko's welcomes Dale to San Francisco - he's done exemplary things with the company over the past 15 years. As a member of the Chairperson's Club and now as San Francisco's market director, he continues to prove he is an instrumental member of Kinko's team," said Gary Kusin, Kinko's president and CEO. Mr. Kurokawa joined Kinko's in September 1987 as a team member in the Capitola, Calif. Store, and six months later he became the manager of the Monterey, Calif. store. During his 15 years with the company, Kurokawa has been instrumental in the creation and implementation of many new services. Under his leadership as market director in Central California, his area consistently received recognition for top performance year after year. Prior to that, Kurokawa was the regional operations manager for the Seattle, British Columbia and San Francisco Peninsula regions.
