About the TPA Alignment System:
 
Registration of media is a critical function for the input to printing and finishing systems, but current solutions can be temperamental and require a skilled operator to setup and operate. BDT is introducing the TPA Alignment System that makes media changeovers trivial and registration fully automated and highly reliable, regardless of media size, weight or feed rate.
 
BDT’s TPA Alignment System utilizes the patented BDT Tornado Technology, providing the ability to control print substrates by contacting one side of the media only. Transport and registration is performed simultaneously with no media specific mechanical adjustments and no requirement for compressed air. The BDT TPA Alignment System enables the registration of the widest range of media types, surfaces, and format geometries in the industry including specialty media that typically cannot be registered currently.
