GPA Announces Exclusive on Azuna 3D Film

Press release from the issuing company

Chicago, IL – GPA, the market leader in substrate solutions for offset, digital, and wide format printing, announces the addition of Azuna® 3D Film to their offering for offset presses. This translucent film provides a realistic illusion of depth with a three-dimensional bubble pattern that creates a captivating appearance. GPA is pleased to reintroduce this product to the North American market, which is now exclusively available from GPA.

Azuna® 3D Film turns any application into a mesmerizing experience, which is why it is perfect for today’s most popular applications and markets. It is excellent for retail and POP signage, product packaging, direct mail, business cards, shelf wobblers, counter mats, booklet covers, and more. This material meets FDA requirements for food contact applications, making it ideal for eye-catching food packaging.

Azuna® 3D Film offers the lightweight durability expected from a synthetic material with the added bonus of being a #5 recyclable plastic. Both sides of this translucent sheet offer superior printability, which opens the door for layered effects with different images and colors on the front and back. Printing on this substrate is just as easy as printing on any other synthetic material, and even easier than printing on lenticular films.

These sheets can be converted into striking applications with the most common finishing methods, including scoring, folding, die cutting, gluing and foil stamping. They are stocked and readily available in a 20 mil caliper, 28" x 40" sheets for offset presses. With Azuna® 3D Film from GPA, print service providers and marketers have more options for creating dramatic applications that pull their audience into the page.
